Association of Consulting Structural Engineers

ACSEThe Association of Consulting Structural Engineers (ACSE)is the structural branch of Consult Australia. It best represents the business and technical interests of consulting structural engineers in NSW above any other association or institution.

Australian Institute of Architects

AIAThe Australian Institute of Architects is the peak body for the architectural profession, representing 11,000 members across Australia and overseas. The Institute actively works to improve the quality of our built environment by promoting quality, responsible and sustainable design.

Australian Institute of Project Management

AIPMThe Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) is the premier, longest-serving body for project management in Australia. With over 10,000 members, we are recognised by Australian business, industry and government as the key promoter, developer and leader in project management professionalism.

AIPM is the second-largest member of the International Project Management Association (IPMA), as well as the secretariat of the Asia Pacific Federation of Project Management (apfpm), an organisation initiated by the AIPM in early 2010.

Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors

AIQSThe Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) is a professional standards body.  Through its leadership, standards and code of ethics, it ensures that practising Quantity Surveyors are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of professional excellence. The Institute is a national organisation with Chapters and Divisions in all States and Territories. It also has a strong overseas membership and is the Australian peak body to the International Cost Engineering Council and the Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors.

Green Building Council of Australia

GBCAThe Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) is a national, not-for-profit organisation that is committed to developing a sustainable property industry for Australia by encouraging the adoption of green building practices. Its key objectives are to drive the transition of the Australian property industry towards sustainability by promoting green building programs, technologies, design practices and operations as well as the integration of green building initiatives into mainstream design, construction and operation of buildings.

Infrastructure Partnerships Australia

Infrastructure Partnerships AustraliaInfrastructure Partnerships Australia is the nation’s peak infrastructure body. Its mission is to advocate the best solutions to Australia’s infrastructure challenges through facilitating open dialogue and genuine, enduring partnerships between government and the private sector. Its membership draws together the nation’s most senior industry leaders from across the spectrum of the infrastructure sector, including constructors, operators, designers and financiers. A significant proportion of its membership is drawn from Government departments and agencies, ensuring a strong focus on delivering the best frameworks, projects and policies to meet key national objectives.

Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia

ISCAThe Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia (ISCA) is the peak industry body for advancing sustainability in Australia’s infrastructure.  ISCA is a member-based, not-for-profit industry (public and private) council.  Our mission is to be the principal industry catalyst for enhancing the liveability and productivity of our major cities and our regional communities through advancing sustainability in infrastructure planning, procurement, delivery and operation.

National Engineering Registration Board

NERBThe National Engineering Registration Board (NERB) is a partnership between Consult Australia, the Institution of Engineers, Australia (Engineers Australia), the Association of Professional Engineers, Scientists and Managers, Australia (APESMA), and the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia (IPWEA). NERB, together with representation from state and territory Governments and community organisations, supervises the operation of national engineering registers to ensure the community is provided with the protection it is entitled to expect in relation to work undertaken by engineering practitioners. These registers are:

• The National Professional Engineers Register (NPER)
• The National Engineering Technologists Register (NETR)
• The National Engineering Associates Register (NEAR)
