Kieran Costello, SMEC

James Vine, Cox Architecture

Emma McGirr, GML Heritage

Gian Alarcon, WSP Australia
Cutter Soil Mix (CSM) walls are a state-of-the-art foundation construction process that utilises the same principles as an arch bridge to resist horizontal loads and greatly accelerates the process of soil stabilisation during construction

Rebecca Dracup, Wood & Grieve Engineers
How can present-day expectations of thermal comfort be met with old technology? The challenge was to design an industrial warehouse without air-conditioning. Modelling software, traditionally employed to demonstrate compliance of a building’s air-conditioning energy consumption, was used to find a solution.
